Siesta lounge chair designed by Ingmar Relling for Westnofa (Norway) during the 1960s. It features a laminated rosewood frame with bentwood legs and removable neckrest. The backrest and seat are covered with canvas and cord, and the cushions and neckrests have been upholstered in black leather. He designed a number of modern classics which has been very popular in Scandinavia and worldwide. The laminated wood construction of Siesta (providing strength and superior comfort) was a technical revolution.
It is in a good vintage condition with small traces of use.
